由于2012的上映，许多人都开始关注世界末日的议题。

某报业搞了一版的2012启示录。文中访问了浸信会的讲师和某佛教的师父。内容没有多大的意外。不外是信主可以带领你避免灾难、多做善事可减少业障等等。阅后感：说了等于没说。我并没有诬蔑宗教的意思。但是实际上它可以帮些什么吗？

废气还是照排；垃圾还是照丢。环保吗？有多少的人真的在意呢？自己的肚皮都自顾不暇了！当谈到地球因为人类的种种破坏面对灭亡，最重要的不就是如何补救吗？这份启示录却没有带出这类讯息。真是令人担忧呀！

电视台新闻报导说国人普遍上不喜欢阅读。各处书展无人问津。

可笑。

爱读书的人，负担不起昂贵的书。

想找个好样的图书馆，也难如登天。

所以，唯一畅销的就只是翻版书。

而且还是励志的那一类型。

试问，我何德何能可以爱读书 ？

More over it’s difficult to find a good library around.

End up, the only remaining popular are the pirated books.

Especially the inspirational type.

So, how could I able to love reading?

自从老婆怀孕至到宝宝出生后，我就和悠闲的日子说拜拜了。
以前放工后还可以去游游泳，看看电影。现在就只想回家帮忙打理家务。
为了更要努力地赚钱养家，好让妻子可以安心地辞去工作在家照顾宝宝，
我也有好久的一段时间没有碰到喜爱的篮球了。

在一次按奈不住的情况下。。。
我趁周末天刚破晓，老婆和宝宝还在熟睡时溜了出去，和我久违了的运动好好“约会”一番。
投球失准、体力尽失已是意料之中。
却没想到跑没两回合，就喘得像只牛了。
唯一惊人的发现就是我的反应能力突飞猛进到了另一个层次。
在不熟悉的队友“独特”又有点乱来的传球里，我竟然可以接得住那一次又一次的“妙传”！
那跨过腰际、穿过胯下、忽上忽下的传球，我一个不漏地全接在手。
实不相瞒，就算在高峰时期，有时我连从正面传来的快球也接得有点辛苦。
依个人能力而言，我只有苦练得来的投球准确率可以自豪一番而已。
控球能力、反应和弹跳力等都堪称得上弱的我，可以这样地打篮球这么多年，真是一个奇迹。

回家后，我赶紧向以为老公跑路了的老婆说了这件让人惊叹的事。
老婆想了想，说可能是她怀孕的一年来我所练就的能力吧！
据她说，以前我睡觉时总是翻来覆去。然后我那有如八家将挥动的双臂总是将她打得脸青鼻腫。
但是自从怀了宝宝以后，我睡觉时都会双手交叉地盘在腹上，规规矩矩地一觉到天亮。
细心回想下，在老婆怀了宝宝后的我每晚都睡得战战兢兢的，生怕打到老婆惊动了胎气。
现在宝宝几个月大了，为了减轻老婆的一点负担（真的是一点），我也一起睡在宝宝的身边，好方便照顾宝宝。
我生怕一不小心压坏了宝宝，所以将全副精神集中，控制身体好像一副木乃伊般，躺得一动也不动。
日复一日，竟让我练就了一身反应能力。
哼！只要我将体力练回来，谁家还敢说当爸爸的老了不能打篮球？！！

老婆和宝宝，你们真是功不可没也。

很多时候
当亲友心情不好时
我们的心情也不好

当亲有的心情好时
我们的心情也跟着好
反之如是

我并不觉得奇怪
因为这证明了彼此都在乎对方
大家的心都有联系

有鉴于此
为了避免我的心情影响大家的心情
我还算蛮厉害“心情转还”一下的

因此如果你发现我心情不好的话
请好好珍惜
因为我极有可能在下一分钟就转换心情了

我，曾经爱上过wira和kenari。

原因无它。

它随我出生入死许多年，怎么说我也是个血肉之躯。。。

驾得久了，日久生情在所难免。

只是随着对社会的认知越深，对国产车的反感也随之增加。

第一：国产车在某些国家卖的比本地便宜。

疑问：为什么不惠及国民？反而在没有竞争的余地下减低售价。

第二：某些入口车的实价和国产车相近，但是品质却相差生甚远。

疑问：提高入口税来保护国产车的售量，我勉强同意。但是要保护多久？要让国民驾烂车多久？以同等的价钱能买部比较好的入口车，为什么要让国民来受这份委屈？国产车接受许多外援技术支持，品质为什么没进步？何时才能拥有自己的技术，脱离外援？

第三：没有进步。

原因：过度被庇护的孩子会造成任性的小孩。过度被庇护的企业，只会是一个没有竞争力的企业。

Myvi无疑是国产车里现任第一把交椅。不谈价钱的话，品质还算好。

但是我已经厌倦了车奴的日子。我不想将我的血汗钱“捐”给“某一些人”。

国产车，我们分手后你好自为之吧！

注：国产车品质问题，太旧的国产车买了形同背另一种债务（无止境的修理。。。）。切记、切记。

科技发展迅速，几年前还必须花费昂贵的电话费来联络远方的亲朋好友。现在只需区区的几十块钱就可上网，用skype, msn messenger, yahoo messenger 等等互相了解近况。我们可以用视屏、文字、和语音来互相交流。距离是拉近了，但是我们有好好利用吗？有时候，就是太方便所以有很多话我们都等一下再讲。等一下，等他上网，结果可能忘了就算还记得，那份热情也可能没了。久而久之，关系反而疏远了。

成立部落格的目的，就是为了方便亲朋好友了解我的近况。这种broadcast的方式，希望大家都能接受吧！

Technology advanced, a few year back then we still need to spend expensive load on phone calls to keep in touch with friends and family who are far away. Now we only need a few bucks to online, and make use of instant messenger like skype, msn, yahoo to get to know how thing are going on each other. We can use video conference, words and voice to talk to each other. The distance is closer thanks to technology, but are we make full use with it? Sometimes, it’s just too convenient which leads to thinking that “oh, I can im later on”. Wait a while, or wait he/she online leads to forget the thing we need to say. Even if we still remember, the passion might have been gone. As a result, the relationship get worsen.

The reason I blog, is to ease friends, family and relative to get to know what I’m up to recently. Am I doing well etc… I hope everyone can get use to this “broadcasting” methods. Personally I think I’m more expressive in chinese. But since there’s some friends who are not chinese literate, I would translate when I have some spare time on hand. (^_^)

小时候每天傍晚都会守在电视机旁

因为那是所有小孩的卡通时间

记得卡通播到一半，都会播放友族念可兰经

这时候我们都会“冲”似的把声量关掉、或者转台

回想起来真的有点好笑

电视机就像怪兽似的发出声音

而我们就是惩戒怪物的英雄，把它“杀”掉

和太太谈天时聊起了这件趣事

还记得当时我偶尔会学”alawanpong”一下

被公公和婆婆痛骂我一顿

其实身在马来西亚的我们早已习惯

只是有时还是希望友族同胞体谅一下

生病还是累时就算是“天籁之音”也不想多听

更何况是“念经”。。。

Driving around with baby makes me drive more careful than usual. However sometimes I would drive too slow until the car behind me horn or even showing rude behaviour. To avoid this and make the drivers following me a little bit of aware why I drive so carefully, I design a baby on board sign to keep them informed.

Initially I was trying to buy it. But it appears that I couldn’t find a suitable one. Some are not readable at all. By the time you read the words, I suppose one already bang on the car’s butt or else it wouldn’t be possible at all. And some even u read the words, you just couldn’t related to “there’s baby in the car, so forgive me if I’m driving too slow” kind of messages. So I was thinking, why don’t I make one myself. So here it is. I printed it with yellow paper and laminate it. It is not as cheap as I thought(at least cheaper than I buy), but hey~ it’s my stuff and I’m happy with it.

以前看到一些爸爸，总是小心翼翼的盯着自己的baby。

当有人要和baby玩时，就四处叮咛要先洗手才可以抱baby。

咳嗽、感冒的话， 抱歉！请最好不要靠近baby。

特别是那些还不懂事的小屁孩，请闪远点。。。

看着，看着， 有点好笑。总觉得那爸爸太紧张了。

我笑称它为紧张候群症

如今我做爸爸了。

一面想当个好爸爸，

令一方面却觉得怪怪的。。

好像有点deja vu的感觉。

我的一言一语，都好像似曾相识似的。

某一天，发现我有这候群症的迹象。

太迟了，惊觉我已化身为紧张爸爸。

分分钟有过之，而无不及。

虽然我明白，baby不可以过份的保护。

但是我还分不清楚，怎样适当的爱护。

如果您“有幸”看见我这一身病态的话，请帮帮我：

一： 自掏腰包请个好医师来帮我看一看。

二： 一笑置之。

三： 比我更紧张baby。

以上本人觉得“三”的疗程最为有效。

在此特别提醒，此候群症病毒极为容易散播。

所有新生爸爸妈妈特别容易受感染。

It’s been quite a while I’m not using windows operating system for my home pc since I dicovered the installation friendly linux distro — Ubuntu. And here, I would like to share some of my opinions with all of u on my usage so far.

At first I was just trying to be naughty to install it on my pc. I have been heard the name of linux for ages but I never encounter it before. So after heard the popular Ubuntu version, I was thinking why not give it a try. And here I’m, an anti-window up to today.

Ok, let throw the boring story behind and get started. First of all, let’s see my desktop printscreen.

Pretty neat, eh? Guess how I printscreen my desktop? It’s about the printscreen button, right! But what I did is press the silly button and there’s a window prompting to save to an image. That’s it! Instead of need to open a image tools like mspaint or photoshop to paste then save. Pretty straight forward.

As u can see, it’s something like what we used to. Window-based user interface. U can actually do the same thing with your mouse. Point and click, or double click, or right click. It does exactly the same thing. Well, not really exactly the same.. but generally one will get used to it in no time. U can plug in your pendrive, external drives, memory cards~ it just works as what u used to.

What I actually find it is rather easier to customize in terms of user interface compared to microsoft products. But u would have some hard time looking for a good themes comparably. May be it have something to do with linux users. They are more fond on command prompt rather than user interface. I’m not really sure about this, but I did get some hints all over the time through “quest” of customization of my choice of user interface. That’s not all of it. The nature of linux itself is customization. U may customize a brand new OS with whatever you want with it. But u will need some skills in order to do that or there’s ppl out there to actually build one for you(trust me, there’s a lot of nice ppl out there despite of the bad economy).

Ok, to be straight forward, “what’s good about linux”:

1. it’s free!
2. most of the software are free too.
3. there are less virus, spyware to attack(very very very very few!)
4. it’s runnable with very little resource(cpu, ram, etc).
5. it’s cool! watch this Compiz Fusion
6. there’s a lot of helper offering to help you go through your hard times.
7. it’s opensource. Which means you can view the codes to learn stuffs.
8. it’s much stable and lean.
9. u don’t need to install anti-virus at all. Thus saving time from scanning and waiting.(But u still need to set up a firewall)
10. there’s tons of alternative for software that not available. (e.g adobe and replacement is gimp)
11. update every half year. (for Ubuntu’s case)

Ok, that’s not all of it. But allow me to share what’s the “dark” side of linux:

1. there’re too many distro to be confuse.
2. graphic card driver not highly supported. (But ATI has open sourced now)
3. lack of driver support in general.
4. might not be able to support your common devices like wifi adapter.
5. not able to run games.(although there’s cedega, but there’s still limitations)
6. not supported by a wide range of software makers. (e.g: adobe, studiomax)

That’s what I could really think of right now. Overally although there’s a lot of “microsoft” software which are not available in linux. U can always find an alternative for it. For example office can be replace by open office, Adobe photoshop can be replace by Gimp, illustrator by inkscape, etc. Playing of media file like flash, mp3, movie is not a problem too.

Well, this is just a sharing of what’s good about linux. If u are interested, u may always go to Ubuntu to take a look for deeper details. Hope u like it.
